“We have a specific programme, we have prepared US$100 million to intervene in agricultural products such as paddy rice, milled rice and vegetables,” he said while holding his first get-together with some 18,000 factory workers and employees in Prey Speu area, Phnom Penh.

H.E. Kitti Tesaphibal Pundit Hun Manet explained that the budget will be used to help prevent the fall in the price of agricultural products, and when the agricultural yields are good, the Royal Government must find a market for them.

The Royal Government will also deploy agricultural officers in all agricultural-potential communes across the country, especially in the countryside, he said.

Besides, the Premier called for attention to the recruitment of agricultural officials with real agricultural skills.
