Phnom penh: The APSARA National Authority has announced that the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple will remain open to visitors every day, except on the afternoons of the 14th and 28th of each month. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, visitors will not be permitted to access the Bakan Tower from 1:00 PM onward on those designated dates to allow expert teams to conduct technical conservation and maintenance work. The authority called on ministries, national and international institutions, local authorities, tourism agencies, tour guide associations, domestic and international tourists, and the general public to take note of the updated visiting schedule.
