Cambodian Embassy Partners with Asian Centre to Enhance Services in South Korea

Gwangju: The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in South Korea and the Asian Human Rights and Culture Centre have initiated a collaboration to enhance public services for both Cambodian nationals and local communities. The partnership aims to offer free health check-ups and cultural programs, marking a significant step in community support and engagement.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, this initiative was formalized during a meeting on March 17 between Cambodian Ambassador to South Korea H.E. Khuon Phon Rattanak and Ms. Joo Eun-pyo, head of the centre, in the Gwangju metropolitan area. The embassy's social media statement highlighted the commitment of both parties to this cause.

During the meeting, Ambassador Khuon Phon Rattanak expressed gratitude for the centre's ongoing support to the Cambodian community in South Korea. He acknowledged the centre's role in providing counseling services and assisting Cambodian nationals with various issues.

Ms. Joo Eun-pyo reciprocated the appreciation, thanking the embassy for its proactive outreach. She also commended the Cambodian community's dedication, noting their significant voluntary contributions to local society.

Both the embassy and the centre emphasized their dedication to future initiatives focused on public service delivery. These efforts are particularly aimed at improving the well-being of Cambodians residing in Gwangju and its surrounding areas.
