Senate Holds Extraordinary Session of 5th Legislature

Phnom penh: H.E. Ouch Borith, Acting President of the Senate, chaired an extraordinary session of the 5th legislature of the Senate at the Senate Palace in Phnom Penh this morning. The session aimed to announce the admission of a new senator and review and provide comments on the draft law on amendments to the Law on Administrative Management of Communes/Sangkats.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Senate gathered to deliberate on significant legislative changes, emphasizing the importance of administrative management at the commune and sangkat levels. The discussion focused on ensuring that the amendments align with current governance needs and improve the overall efficiency of administrative operations across the regions.
