Cambodia and Thailand will foster their bilateral media cooperation, especially in exchanging media delegation, training, and fighting against fake news.

The remarks were made in a meeting held here on Oct. 2 between Cambodian Minister of Informtion H.E Neth Pheaktra, Thai Ambasador to Cambodia H.E Cherdkiat ATTHAKOR, and a delegation of Thai Journalists Association.

In the meeting, they agreed to continue in strengthening media cooperation, focusing on media delegation exchange between Cambodian and Thai journalists.

They also stressed the importance of media cooperation in fighting against fake news in the framework of the Ministry of Information, Thai Journalists Association, and the Royal Thai Embassy in Cambodia.

H.E. Neth Pheaktra raised the Twin Radio cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand, which is part of news broadcast enhancement for people living along the borderline so that they have access to creditable and comprehensive news related to the development of the two neighbouring countries.
