Paris:The Royal Government of Cambodia has officially approved the establishment of a Representative Office of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France. This move aims to enhance trade and business relations between Cambodia and France.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the decision to open the office was made on September 14, 2026, and publicized on September 25. The office is designated as the Representative Office of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in Paris.

The new office will act as a platform to facilitate communication and cooperation in trade and business between the Cambodian and French business communities. It is noteworthy that the office will operate independently, without utilizing the national budget.

The office will be staffed by 15 members, who are selected through an election process. With the inauguration of the Paris office, Cambodia now operates seven Cambodian Chamber of Commerce representative offices across five countries, including locations in Japan, Canada (Montreal and Toronto), the United States (Long Beach), and Australia (Melbourne and Sydney).
