Cambodia Extends Pilot Implementation of Digital Visitor-Pass for Foreign Travellers

Phnom penh: The General Department of Immigration at the Ministry of Interior has announced the continued pilot implementation of the Cambodia v-Pass (Visitor Pass) system. This initiative replaces the traditional immigration stamps or QR code slips for foreign travellers entering and exiting Cambodia through international airports and seaports.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the trial, which began on January 1, is part of the Royal Government's Pentagonal Strategy - Phase 1 aimed at modernising border services. The digital v-Pass can be accessed by travellers via email, the official e-Arrival website (arrival.gov.kh), or the Cambodia e-Arrival mobile app.
