19th Cambodian Products, Fruits and Vegetables Exhibition 2026 Kicks Off in Siem Reap

Siem reap: The four-day Cambodian Products, Fruits and Vegetables Exhibition 2026, the 19th of its kind, officially opened in Siem Reap province on Feb. 26, aiming to boost the local economy and promote national products.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the inauguration ceremony was presided over by H.E. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, under the theme 'Promoting and Supporting National Products.' The event received support from the Siem Reap Provincial Administration and relevant provincial institutions and saw attendance from senior Ministry of Commerce officials, provincial leaders, representatives of various departments and units, businesspeople, producers, company and enterprise representatives, associations, and students.

H.E. Samheng Bora, speaking at the event, emphasized the value of the exhibition in showcasing Cambodia's potential products and services. He highlighted the opportunities it creates for business matching among domestic entrepreneurs and the promotion of business prospects nationwide. The exhibition provides a platform for traders, operators, service providers, exporters and importers, fruit and vegetable growers, and farm owners to exhibit, promote, and sell Cambodian-made products that adhere to standards of quality, aesthetics, and hygiene.

He stated that organizing the exhibition is crucial for promoting Made-in-Cambodia products, increasing domestic consumption, and attracting both national and international tourists to better understand Cambodian products. The exhibition aligns with a campaign launched by the Ministry of Commerce on Feb. 14, encouraging malls, marts, and mini-marts to prominently and attractively display national products.

The Ministry of Commerce, H.E. Samheng Bora reaffirmed, remains committed to improving the business environment for entrepreneurs and investors with the aim of promoting national economic growth. He encouraged Cambodian producers, traders, and entrepreneurs to innovate and prepare products that meet market demands, enhancing quality, aesthetics, safety, hygiene standards, and affordability to compete effectively in the free market.

The exhibition features nearly 100 companies, enterprises, traders, producers, communities, and growers, showcasing their products across 110 booths.
