Phnom penh: On the occasion of International School Meals Day, World Vision International-Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting child nutrition within a safe school environment, aiming to enhance students' concentration, classroom participation, and overall healthy development.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, since 2017, the organization has worked in close partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports to implement the initiative, a World Vision official confirmed on Thursday.

The programme currently provides daily nutritious meals to students in 316 primary schools across Kampong Thom and Kampong Chhnang provinces. It benefits a total of 100,640 children, including 54,606 girls.
