Phnom Penh:The Vietnam-Cambodia Trade and Business Matching Exhibition 2026, known as VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026, officially commenced on Wednesday morning at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.

It was attended by senior officials from Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Economy and Finance, representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence, the Vietnamese Embassy, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Association, and the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia.
This annual event is co-organised by Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Industry and Trade, alongside Cambodia's Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Commerce. It aims to strengthen diplomatic ties, enhance economic cooperation, and expand bilateral trade between the two nations.
The four-day expo, running until Saturday, October 17, features nearly 160 companies from both countries, showcasing products and services across more than 230 booths. Exhibits include food and beverages, agricultural products, technology, machinery, consumer goods, apparel, and banking and financial services.
In addition to product displays, the event serves as a business-to-business matching platform, providing networking and negotiation opportunities for local traders, wholesalers, and investors with Vietnamese manufacturers. The goal is to explore import, distribution, and joint-venture partnerships.
On the opening day, organisers distributed 2,000 souvenir gift sets featuring Vietnamese products to attendees. VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026 is free and open to the public, offering access to high-quality goods at promotional prices and creating growth opportunities for businesses and investors.
