Phnom penh: Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, on the historic commemoration of the National Day and 77th Armed Forces Day.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Khuon Sudary highlighted the significant growth in the bilateral relationship between Cambodia and Korea, emphasizing that it has been built on mutual respect, understanding, trust, and shared interests. She noted the establishment of a strategic partnership in 2024 as a historic milestone, which has further strengthened the ties between the two nations.

In her message dated Sept. 30, Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed her satisfaction with the progress in parliamentary cooperation between Cambodia and Korea. She pointed out the remarkable advancements achieved over the years through high-level exchanges and practical cooperation.

Samdech Khuon Sudary conveyed her confidence that the existing ties will continue to expand and deepen in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks, ultimately benefiting the peoples and countries of Cambodia and Korea.
