PM Hun Sen Calls on People to Pay Attention to Traffic Laws during New Year Holiday

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, appealed to people to respect traffic laws during the Khmer New Year holiday.

In a special voice message this morning, the Premier said new COVID-19 cases dropped to less than 20 a day and there have been no new death, before and on the first day of the Khmer New Year, but traffic accidents have claimed many lives therefore he urged attention from his compatriots.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also called on the authorities at all levels to facilitate traffic, ensure security and order for the people during the traditional Khmer New Year holiday.

On April 14, 2022, the first day of Khmer New Year holiday, as of 4:00 pm, there were 8 traffic accidents across the country, resulting in 3 deaths and 15 injuries.
