Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ) has attracted a total of 175 enterprises, generating nearly 30,000 jobs for the locals, as the export-import volume of enterprises continues to rise to new heights.

A SSEZ’s report shows that the SSEZ has now become an international industrial park, attracting 175 enterprises / companies from China, Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia and other countries in the region and creating nearly 30,000 jobs.

The volume of imports and exports of enterprises increased from US$139 million in 2013 to nearly US$2.5 billion in 2022, which has given a strong impetus to Cambodia’s economic and industrial development to be the “engine” of economic development in Sihanoukville.
