MISTI and CDRI Forge Partnership to Boost Research in Industry and Technology

Phnom penh: The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) and the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance joint research, strengthen scientific evidence, and promote knowledge sharing to support MISTI’s strategies, policies, and institutional objectives.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the signing ceremony was presided over by H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Dr. Eng Netra, Executive Director of CDRI. The MoU outlines collaboration on research and policy studies related to MISTI’s priority sectors within various contexts and aims to promote private-sector investment.

The partnership will focus on encouraging export diversification to drive job creation and productivity. It will also support the transition toward high-value-added, technology-based manufacturing, particularly targeting small and medium-sized enterprises.
