KH HAITECH Eyes Cambodia Production, Brings Industry 4.0 and Affordable Technology

Phnom penh: KH HAITECH is planning to establish production facilities in Cambodia, aiming to introduce Industry 4.0 manufacturing, expand access to affordable technology, and support the country's industrial upgrading as it moves toward LDC graduation.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during a courtesy meeting with H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, the company outlined its intention to support highly automated and customised factories. It also plans to supply affordable tablets to Cambodians, including students and informal economy actors, to widen access to digital tools and e-learning.

Neak Oknha Sam Sokneoun stated that KH HAITECH was formed as a joint venture between a Cambodian enterprise and partners from China and Singapore to build a locally rooted brand. Founder and Director Dennis Lye Ngaic Seong added that the company is assessing multiple locations across Cambodia for production, noting that utilities, especially power supply, are key factors in its investment decision.

Minister Vanndy welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI)'s support for investors through facilitation of factory setup, operating permits, industrial property protection, standards, and testing services.

He also invited KH HAITECH to showcase its products, technologies, and solutions at the 4th National Science, Technology and Innovation Day, scheduled for Mar. 26-28, 2026, a platform to connect innovators, industry, and users of technology in Cambodia.
