Four Other Investment Projects Approved by CDC

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved four new investment projects with a total capital of US$8.4 million.

According to a CDC’s press release issued this morning, located in special economic zones in Preah Sihanouk province and Phnom Penh capital, the four projects will cover the production of wire and cables, shoes, bags, packaging and stoves.

The newly approved projects would generate some 540 jobs for the locals, the same source added.

Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
