COVID-19: New Cases Remain at Over 100 in Past Few Days

Cambodia detected 108 new COVID-19 cases, all of Omicron variant, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release this morning.

Of the new infections, up to 103 were locally transmitted and 5 were imported, the same source added.

The COVID-19 tally in the Kingdom thus rose to 121,881, including 1,428 Omicron cases (891 Omicron community cases), it underlined.

Besides, 90 new recoveries were registered, while zero new death was reported for 34 days in a row; therefore the total cured and death cases stood at 118,212 and 3,015, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
