The number of new infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia dropped to only 22; all are locally transmitted Omicron variant, said the Ministry of Health in a press release made public this morning.
The country’s COVID-19 tally now increased to 135,834, including 15,381 Omicron cases (14,040 Omicron community cases).
At the same time, the ministry registered 121 new recoveries, and zero new death; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,449 and 3,055, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was found in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
