Daily new infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia rose a bit to 357 this morning, all of Omicron variant, of which 300 were locally transmitted and 57 were imported, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
The country’s COVID-19 tally thus jumped to 133,065, including 12,612 Omicron cases (11,504 Omicron community cases), it pointed out.
Moreover, the ministry announced a new death, but 423 new recoveries; bringing the death toll and cured cases to 3,043 and 127,344, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
