COVID-19: 313 New Cases, But Zero New Death for Three Consecutive Days

Cambodia’s Ministry of Health this morning announced the detection of 313 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 285 were locally transmitted and 28 were imported.

According to the ministry’s press release, the COVID-19 tally in the Kingdom now rose to 130,589, including 10,136 Omicron cases (9,241 Omicron community cases).

Meanwhile, there were 405 new recoveries, while no new death was recorded for three days in a row; the total cured and death cases in Cambodia thus stood at 124,177 and 3,032, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
