Cambonomist and WorldBridge Group Team Up to Host Trade and Investment Forum

Phnom penh: Cambonomist, a digital media agency specialising in business news in Cambodia, partnered with WorldBridge Group, a logistics company, to host the ‘Navigating Trade and Investment (NTI) 2025’ forum aimed at facilitating strategic dialogue on trade and investment amid global economic shifts.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the forum, held on August 11 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh, gathered business leaders, entrepreneurs, and economic experts to exchange insights on Cambodia’s economic policies. Cambonomist Founder and CEO Mr. Soeun Say highlighted the unprecedented global shifts driven by digitalisation, geopolitical tensions, fragmentation into blocs, and an intensifying trade war, which pose serious challenges to businesses and daily life.

Mr. Soeun Say, alongside Neak Oknha Sear Rithy, Chairman of WorldBridge Group’s Board of Directors, described the forum as a vital platform for experts from the public and private sectors to engage in dialogue and contribute solutions to economic challenges in Cambodia and globally.

The forum addressed topics such as the resilience and growth of ASEAN’s agriculture sector, investment strategies, wealth preservation in a volatile global economy, and the impact of U.S. tariffs and global trade reform. Discussions also focused on enhancing food supply chains, the rise of digital currencies, the future of global finance, and the role of innovation in boosting competitiveness within Cambodia’s tourism sector.

Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) H.E. Dr. Sok Siphana, both a speaker and moderator at the forum, underscored the importance of these discussions in shaping a framework for Cambodia’s economic resilience.
