Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on the 78th Anniversary of the Independence Day (Jan. 4).
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Hun Sen, on behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodian People's Party, expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the government and the people of Myanmar. He acknowledged Myanmar's determination, resilience, and commitment to the well-being and prosperity of its people.
Hun Sen highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Cambodia and Myanmar, emphasizing their shared cultural and religious values, mutual respect, and understanding. He described these as the foundation for growing cooperation between the two countries.
In concluding his message, Hun Sen reiterated his commitment to working closely with H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to enhance Cambodia-Myanmar ties both bilaterally and multilaterally, aiming to serve the best interests of both nations.
