Cambodian PM’s Spouse Visits Wounded Soldiers in Phnom Penh

Phnom penh: Cambodia's First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet visited wounded soldiers in the capital's hospitals on Tuesday to deliver aid and messages of support from the country's top leadership.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during the visit, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony distributed relief packages and relayed messages from Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, wishing the servicemen and women a speedy recovery.

The Royal Government officials stated that the outreach was intended to demonstrate the state's commitment to the welfare of the armed forces and to recognize their role in maintaining territorial integrity.

The Royal Government of Cambodia confirmed it would continue to provide medical care and support to personnel injured in the line of duty.
