Cambodian NA President Offers Condolences to Nepal Following Himalayan Flash Floods

Phnom penh: Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, has expressed her condolences to H.E. Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chairperson of the National Assembly Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, in response to the recent devastating flash floods and landslides.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the condolence message, dated Aug. 28, conveyed deep grief over the natural disasters that struck along the Himalayan border between Nepal and China. The disasters resulted in tragic loss of life, injuries, missing persons, the displacement of thousands, and significant property damage.

Samdech Khuon Sudary, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and personally, extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Chairperson Dahal, and through him, to the bereaved families affected by the disasters. She emphasized her solidarity with the people and government of Nepal during this challenging period.

Furthermore, she expressed hope for a swift recovery for all affected communities, wishing them a quick return to normalcy.
