Phnom penh: Four Cambodian artistic gymnasts have departed for training in the People’s Republic of China to prepare for the forthcoming SEA Games 2025 in Thailand and other regional and international competitions. H.E. Noy Phana, Secretary General of the Cambodia Gymnastics Federation, shared the update when seeing athletes off at the Phnom Penh International Airport on July 8.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, of the four athletes, two will be trained specifically for the SEA Games scheduled for December 2025 in Thailand, while the other two will focus on preparation for future international competitions. The training is designed to enhance the skills of Cambodian gymnasts, enabling them to compete with top athletes in the Southeast Asian region and beyond, including those who have qualified for the Olympic Games and are Olympic medalists.
Both the federation and the Cambodian artistic gymnasts are dedicated to working and training diligently to elevate the sport and achieve medal success in regional and international events.
