The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have expressed their satisfaction with the growing relations and cooperation between both nations.

In their courtesy meeting here yesterday afternoon, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Cambodian Senate and Vietnamese President H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc spoke highly of the good cooperation and mutual support, as well as of the good friendship and partnership between the two neighbouring countries, particularly between their legislative bodies.

They also noted the growing relationship and cooperation between both countries and peoples despite the COVID-19 threats as well as their mutual assistance in cash, vaccines and medical materials to fight against the pandemic.

The two leaders congratulated the achievements attained by Cambodia and Vietnam, and were committed to continue to maintain and develop the bilateral relations and cooperation in the spirit of “good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive, strong and long-lasting cooperation”.
