Cambodia and Vietnam Enhance Media Collaboration

Phnom penh: A Cambodian delegation, led by H.E. In Chhay, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Information, has learned about the transformation of Quang Ninh’s media sector, particularly its approach to managing and publishing information in the digital era. The delegation was received on Oct. 1 by General Director of Quang Ninh Radio and Television Ms. Nguy?n Th? Thiªn, during the delegation’s visit to the Vietnamese province.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. In Chhay noted that the visit provided a valuable opportunity to witness firsthand the province’s rapid growth and socio-economic development. The Cambodian delegation acknowledged these achievements as a model for media advancement and socio-economic progress, reaffirming their commitment to exploring deeper collaboration between Cambodia and Vietnam in the field of information and communication.

Ms. Nguy?n Th? Thiªn emphasised the evolving role of journalists in Quang Ninh, noting that they are increasingly required to be multi-skilled and capable of producing diverse content across platforms. She underscored the province’s media strategy, which integrates newspapers, television, and radio under the Quang Ninh Media Group to deliver engaging and accessible programmes for audiences of all ages.
