Dakhla:New York: Bolivia has announced its intention to establish a trade office in Dakhla to facilitate the entry of Bolivian products into African markets, alongside plans for a diplomatic representation in Rabat.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the announcement was made during a joint communiqu© by Moroccan Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita and Bolivian Foreign Affairs Minister H©ctor Francisco Huanca Guti©rrez. This followed discussions at the United Nations headquarters during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

Bolivia acknowledged the "Autonomy Proposal" presented by Morocco in 2007 as a possible path for advancing negotiations towards a fair and lasting political solution. Both countries confirmed their commitment to international law principles, emphasizing respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.

The two nations expressed a mutual desire to strengthen bilateral relations through political pragmatism and cooperation. They committed to enhancing political dialogue and creating a robust institutional framework to support a more dynamic relationship.

In support of these efforts, Morocco and Bolivia agreed to hold the first session of the Bilateral Political Consultations Mechanism, established in 1999, to provide a permanent framework for dialogue. Additionally, the ministers signed an agreement to waive visa requirements for holders of specific passports and a Memorandum of Understanding between their diplomatic academies.
