Phnom penh: The O' Jik Bridge, located on the border between Chong Kal district in Oddar Meanchey province and Srei Snam district in Siem Reap province, has been destroyed in a Thai military attack. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, a Thai F16 fighter jet was deployed at 10:58 p.m. on Dec. 19 to bombard and destroy the structure. The Ministry of National Defence highlighted the incident as an indiscriminate attack by the Thai military, which it described as a serious violation of international humanitarian law. The ongoing attacks, which have entered their 14th day, are reported to be increasingly aggressive, with operations extending deep into Cambodian territory.
