Outcomes of Regional Forum on Zero Fake News Campaign Themed “Building Regional Trust, Digital Resilience, and Responsible Information Sharing”

Phnom penh: The Ministry of Information of Cambodia this evening issued a press release on the outcomes of the Regional Forum on the Zero Fake News Campaign: Strengthening Anti-Misinformation Efforts Following the Combating Fake News for Journalists Program (Phase 2), held in Phnom Penh on June 2 under the theme: "Building Regional Trust, Digital Resilience, and Responsible Information Sharing." According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the forum focused on enhancing efforts to combat misinformation and promote accurate information dissemination. It emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in building trust and resilience in the digital age. Participants discussed strategies for responsible information sharing and the role of journalists in addressing fake news. The event was part of the ongoing initiative to strengthen anti-misinformation efforts, building on the previous phase of the Combating Fake News for Journalists Program.
