More Foreign Embassies Extend Wishes for Swift Recovery to Cambodian Monarch

Phnom penh: The embassies of Japan, Canada, and France have joined other foreign representations accredited to Cambodia in extending their wishes for the full and speedy recovery and long life of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, a royal message issued on Friday revealed that His Majesty will extend his stay in Beijing for an additional one to two months for treatment and recovery. This decision follows medical advice from doctors in the Chinese capital after the King was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The Embassy of Japan expressed its solidarity with the Royal Family and the Cambodian people, hoping that the Khmer New Year brings peace and prosperity to the nation. Similarly, the Embassy of Canada conveyed its wishes for the King's full and swift recovery, aligning its message with the upcoming Khmer New Year celebrations, which are anticipated to bring peace, prosperity, and good health.

Meanwhile, the French Embassy in Cambodia also expressed its sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery for His Majesty. The embassy emphasized its hopes for health, happiness, and a long life for the King and the Cambodian people as they prepare to celebrate the New Year.
