The event featured young yoga enthusiasts, school students, yoga practitioners, government officials, and members of the public. Senior government functionaries and representatives from various Ministries and private yoga organizations also attended the celebration.

A significant event for the 12th International Day of Yoga took place in Siem Reap on June 19, with H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, as the Chief Guest. This year, the Indian Embassy in Cambodia, alongside various Ministries, government departments, universities, and yoga institutions, organized over 12 Yoga events across Cambodia, reflecting Yoga's growing popularity as a lifestyle choice for balanced living.

In 2014, India initiated and garnered support from 177 countries for a United Nations resolution declaring June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. For the past 12 years, this day has been celebrated globally, including in Cambodia, promoting Yoga's benefits to people of all ages.
