KUALA LUMPUR, Shares of HeiTech Padu Bhd surged in early trade today after the company secured a RM133.7 million contract with the Road Transport Department (RTD). As of 10.45 am, the technology company's shares had risen by 10 per cent, or 23 sen, to RM2.53, with 5.41 million shares changing hands. In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday, HeiTech Padu disclosed that the contract entails building, supplying, delivering, installing, configuring, integrating, testing and commissioning RTD's hardware, software, and digital systems.
