Phnom Penh:The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) reached new heights in September 2026, achieving record levels in average daily trading volume and value.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the CSX saw its average daily trading value soar to 5.8 billion KHR (approximately US$1.45 million), marking a significant 63 percent increase from the previous record of 3.6 billion KHR (approximately US$0.89 million) set in April 2022. The ongoing involvement of investors is crucial for developing a resilient securities market, facilitating capital-raising for local enterprises, and supporting national economic growth.

CSX, a joint venture between the Cambodian government and the Korean Exchange, began trading in 2012. As of September, the securities market includes 12 equity-listed companies and 16 listed corporate bonds, collectively raising approximately US$720 million.
