Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, has extended congratulations to his Pakistani counterpart H.E. Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his congratulations and best wishes to the Senate and the people of Pakistan in a message dated Aug. 13. He conveyed his appreciation for the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Pakistan, particularly through their legislative institutions.

Samdech Techo further emphasized his commitment to working more closely with his Pakistani counterpart to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the two Parliaments. This effort aims to benefit the Senates, peoples, and countries of Cambodia and Pakistan.
