Phnom Penh:Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun S¨n, the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has offered his congratulations to H.E. Sonexay Siphandone on his election as the President of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, in a letter dated October 5, Hun S¨n expressed confidence in Sonexay Siphandone's leadership, noting that his election reflects the trust and confidence placed in him by his colleagues and the people of Lao PDR.

Hun S¨n also believes that under Sonexay Siphandone's leadership, the Lao National Assembly will see enhanced institutional development and legislative effectiveness. He expects the Assembly to fulfill its core mission and contribute to Lao PDR's national development goals.

Moreover, Hun S¨n expressed optimism that the longstanding relationship between Cambodia and Laos will continue to flourish, emphasizing mutual respect, shared values, and a commitment to bilateral cooperation.

He also conveyed his eagerness to work closely with Sonexay Siphandone to strengthen cooperation between the legislative bodies of Cambodia and Laos, aiming for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.

Hun S¨n concluded his message by wishing Sonexay Siphandone continued health, happiness, and success, along with prosperity for the Lao people.
