Phnom penh: Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has extended congratulations to H.E. Le Minh Hung on his appointment as Prime Minister of Vietnam.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Cambodia and Vietnam share a long-standing friendship rooted in good neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability. In his congratulatory message dated April 7, Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized his appreciation for the strong ties between the two nations and expressed his eagerness to meet with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung. He highlighted the importance of further strengthening and expanding bilateral collaboration, as well as cooperation within ASEAN and other multilateral frameworks, for the mutual benefit of both countries' peoples.

Samdech Thipadei also remarked that H.E. Le Minh Hung's appointment signifies the confidence and trust that the Party, State, and the People of Vietnam have placed in him. This reflects recognition of his dedication to promoting the country's development and prosperity.

The Cambodian Premier expressed his belief that under the visionary leadership of H.E. Le Minh Hung and the guidance of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam will continue to achieve significant accomplishments in socio-economic development. He also anticipates that Vietnam will further enhance its role in regional and international affairs.
