Phnom penh: Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly (NA) of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Tuesday sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane on his re-election as the Lao NA President.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed her warmest congratulations and felicitations to H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane on his re-election, which took place at the inaugural session on March 23, 2026. She emphasized the shared bond of traditional friendship, solidarity, and the Comprehensive and Long-Lasting Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and Laos.

The message also highlighted the importance of the enduring cooperation between the two nations' legislatures, both at bilateral and multilateral levels. This cooperation has deepened with renewed strengths, bringing benefits to the peoples of both countries.

Samdech Khuon Sudary concluded her message by reaffirming her commitment to working closely with H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
