Cambodian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Australia’s Governor-General

Canberra: H.E. Nom Piseth, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Australia, formally presented his credentials to H.E. Ms. Sam Mostyn, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, during an official ceremony at Government House in Canberra on May 5.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Lim Sambath, Counsellor; Mr. Soth Sothearak, Defence Attach©; and Ms. Vathana Nika, First Secretary of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Australia. During the ceremony, Ambassador Nom Piseth conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet to the Governor-General.

The ambassador commended the longstanding and positive development of bilateral relations between Cambodia and Australia, expressing appreciation for Australia's continued support to Cambodia's socio-economic development, particularly in human resource development. H.E. Ambassador also reaffirmed his strong commitment to further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries during his diplomatic tenure.
