Cambodian Acting Head of State Sends Congratulatory Message to Speaker of Russian Senate

Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Ms. Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the message was sent on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Russia. In his message, Hun Sen expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Matvienko, the Federation Council, and the people of Russia. He acknowledged the steady growth of bilateral relations, emphasizing the spirit of long-lasting friendship, solidarity, mutual trust, understanding, and cooperation between the two nations.

Hun Sen also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration, stating that through joint efforts, Cambodia and Russia will further advance and expand their cooperation into promising areas to benefit both countries. He stressed the commitment to work closely with Matvienko in strengthening cooperation between the legislative bodies of both nations, aiming for peace, stability, wellbeing, and prosperity for their countries, regions, and the world.
