Svay Rieng:Around 8,000 low-income residents in Svay Chrum district received free medical examinations, treatment, and health education services from H.E. Hun Many's Volunteer Doctor Team on Sunday.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the medical mission took place at Samdech Hun Sen Svay Ph'aem Primary School in Svay Ang commune. The event was attended by Samdech Kitti Sangahapundit Men Sam An, a Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King.

During the event, Samdech Men Sam An conveyed greetings from prominent Cambodian figures, including Acting Head of State and President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony. She emphasized the Royal Government's commitment to public welfare.

Samdech Men Sam An highlighted the importance of health in human capital development and discussed the Royal Government's strategy under Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet to enhance the National Social Protection Framework. This framework includes a social assistance system providing cash transfers to vulnerable groups and a national social security scheme managed by the NSSF, covering healthcare, occupational risks, and pensions.

She expressed appreciation to Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many for initiating the program, and to team leader H.E. Leng Phally along with the participating healthcare professionals for their contributions. She also encouraged residents to maintain personal hygiene, seek medical care promptly, and urged local authorities to collaborate with healthcare institutions. Additionally, she called on youth to engage in volunteerism and advised citizens to verify their voter registration with the National Election Committee.
