First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation H.E. Alexey Chepa spoke highly of rapid development of Preah Sihanouk coastal province and looked forward to cooperating with the provincial authorities to further support its development.

H.E. Alexey Chepa shared the appreciation with Preah Sihanouk Provincial Governor H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun during their recent meeting at the province.

Russia will enhance the cooperation with the provincial authority and boost economic relation, culture, and encourage more Russian tourists to visit the province, he added.

H.E. Alexey Chepa also supported direct flight from Russia to Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap provinces and will seek opportunity to form city alliance between Preah Sihanouk city and Veliky Novgorod city in the near future.
