The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has called for vigilance among the public of possible thunder, lightning, and gusts this week.

According to its new weather forecast released this morning, the country would have light rain from June 2 to 5, and moderate to heavy rain from June 6 to 8.

Between June 2 and 8, it continued, the temperature would vary between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas and from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius for the mountainous areas in the north and northeast.

For the coastal areas, the temperature would be between 24 and 34 degrees Celsius, pointed out the ministry, warning people, particularly fishermen and seafarers of strong wind and high waves.
