Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this afternoon visiting Dr. David D. Arnold, President and CEO of the Asia Foundation.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the courtesy meeting, Dr. David D. Arnold briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the Asia Foundation’s activities in Cambodia, currently focusing on technology use to enhance women and youth, strengthen good governance, promote international cooperation, build environmental resilience, which contribute to the sustainable development of Cambodia.

He expressed his gratitude to Samdech Techo Hun Sen and the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) for their good cooperation with the Asia Foundation, which allows the foundation to fulfill its mission smoothly and successfully in Cambodia in the past 40 years.

For his part, the Cambodian Prime Minister highly valued the partnership between the RGC and the Asia Foundation in the last 40 years, and thanked and encouraged the foundation to continue its mission and find more areas of cooperation so as to contribute to the development of Cambodian economy, particularly during the COVID-19 crisis and Cambodia’s economic reopening.
