All registered pharmaceutical import export companies can now apply to import COVID-19 vaccines validated by the World Health Organisation (WHO), a move contributing to containing and preventing the spread of the pandemic, announced the Ministry of Health.

In the ministry’s announcement released this afternoon, the distribution of WHO-verified COVID-19 vaccines will be made to legal private health service providers through the country.

Those importing companies are advised to adhere to the technical standard in the vaccine transport, conservation and storage in warehouses to ensure high safety and effectiveness, read the announcement signed by Minister H.E. Mam Bunheng.

The interested companies are asked to submit their applications to the Ministry of Health.
