The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has issued over 6.4 million land titles or about 92 percent as of the end of 2021.

The figures were based on an annual report shared by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction on Dec. 30.

The ministry expects to reach 100 percent of land registration or about 7 million land titles soon, while the previous deadline was 2023.

The ministry was also committed to ensure safe ownership of land to live, cultivate and invest so as to create more jobs, income as well as to foster socio-economic development in Cambodia.
