A report of the Ministry of Tourism shows that 271,428 people travelled across Cambodia on Oct. 6, the second day of the three-day Pchum Ben break, of them 269,513 were national visitors and 1,915 were foreigners.

The figure saw an increase by 82.15 percent compared to that of the first day, pointed out the report issued this morning.

Coastal areas – Kampot, Kep, and Preah Sihanouk provinces – remained the most attractive destinations, followed by the provinces of Pursat, Battambang, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, and Siem Reap.

“Pchum Ben” Festival or the Festival for the Dead is the second biggest festival for the Cambodian people after the Khmer New Year.
