Japanese Ambassador to Further Support Preah Sihanouk’s Development

The Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia H.E. MIKAMI Masahiro spoke highly of rapid development of Preah Sihanouk province and looked forward to cooperating with the provincial authorities to further support its progress.

H.E. MIKAMI Masahiro shared the appreciation with Preah Sihanouk Provincial Governor H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun during their meeting yesterday at the province.

Japan will continue the cooperation with the provincial authority and encourage more Japanese companies to invest in the province.

At the same time, added the ambassador, Japan also contributes to developing the province’s road infrastructure and waste management effort, which is the foundation to attract investments.

From his end, H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun thanked H.E. Ambassador as well as the people and Government of Japan especially for the support to build 24 primary schools and two secondary schools, and for the construction of a deep-sea port in order to assist human and economic development in the province.
