The Ministry of Information will create an e-book on new media-related words already approved by the National Council of Khmer Language (NCKL) at the Royal Academy of Cambodia.
The plan was unveiled at the ministry’s weekly meeting held here this morning in hybrid format.
The e-book will comprise three languages – English, Khmer and French.
The use of the approved words will start from the Ministry of Information, both at the national and sub-national levels, H.E. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information, underlined at the meeting.
A working group, led by H.E. Secretary of State Hor Sopheap, will be formed to work on the project.
Up to now, more than 200 new words related to the field of information and broadcasting have been approved by NCKL.
