H.E. Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia, spoke highly of Cambodia’s rapid development, as well as COVID-19 pandemic control.
H.E. Ambassador made the appreciation during a recent meeting here with Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence.
H.E. Jacques Pellet expressed France’s support for the Cambodian Multinational Training Centre to become a regional training centre and its request for the docking of the French navy in Cambodia in 2023.
Samdech Tea Banh thanked France for its contribution to the peace building, reconstruction and development of Cambodia as well as for its assistance to the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).
The defence minister also lauded France’s good cooperation in the training and dispatch of Cambodian peacekeepers to UN missions abroad.
Samdech Tea Banh reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to continue good cooperation with France and other countries in the region and the world.
